ABSTRAK
Penulisan ini mengkaji representasi perempuan dalam novel My Crazy Feminist Girlfriend karya Min Ji-hyoung melalui lensa teologis dari kisah penciptaan dalam Kejadian 2:18-23. Dengan menganalisis narasi novel yang menggambarkan dinamika patriarki dan feminisme dalam konteks budaya Korea Selatan, studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana karakterisasi perempuan dan laki-laki mencerminkan dan menantang struktur patriarki tradisional. Didasarkan pada pendekatan kritik feminis, penulis menyoroti aspek-aspek naratif, tema gender, serta dampak sosio-kultural dari pandangan feminis ekstrem yang dihadirkan dalam novel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interpretasi novel ini, jika dikaitkan dengan tafsir kritis kitab Kejadian, memperkaya pemahaman teologis tentang kesetaraan gender yang sering kali diabaikan dalam tradisi patriarkal. Studi ini berupaya menempatkan feminisme sebagai alat baca yang dapat mereformasi perspektif gender di tengah masyarakat, terutama dalam konteks Indonesia. Penelitian ini mendukung pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang hakikat dan peran perempuan yang sejajar dengan laki-laki, sebagaimana tercermin dalam teks-teks suci.

ABSTRACT
This paper examines the representation of women in the novel My Crazy Feminist Girlfriend by Min Ji-hyoung through the theological lens of the creation story in Genesis 2:18-23. By analyzing the novel's narrative that depicts the dynamics of patriarchy and feminism in the context of South Korean culture, this study explores how female and male characterizations reflect and challenge traditional patriarchal structures. Based on a feminist criticism approach, the author highlights the narrative aspects, gender themes, as well as the socio-cultural impact of the extreme feminist views presented in the novel. The results show that this interpretation of the novel, when linked to a critical interpretation of Genesis, enriches the theological understanding of gender equality that is often overlooked in patriarchal traditions. This study seeks to position feminism as a reading tool that can reform gender perspectives in society, especially in the Indonesian context. This study supports a deeper understanding of the nature and role of women who are equal to men, as reflected in sacred texts.
