Abstract

One of the models in developing congregation named basic community. Christian basic community isthe community of believers who gathering for sharing bible and their daily experiences, looking forsolution then servicing in the community members, social life and whole life. Their service groundedby praying, reading bible and bible discussion. Christian basic community is not an exclusivecommunity because it can be built to be inter-religious basic community which religions build acommunity to have reflection on their experiences. Christian basic community also can be built to behuman basic community which is caring to struggling in a whole life for fairness and freedom. Basiccommunity is a liberation community where its members reflect their faith in gaining liberation
