Abstract

YBSB and SPTN HPS agriculture movement as work of ChatholicChurh and Chatholic clergy can inspire Church in Indonesia context tocompassionate toward the fate of peasants and save the agriculture environmentfrom ecological destruction. YBSB and SPTN HPS agriculture movementsupported by theological vision that is rooted in theology of creation and originatein God’s mercy, compassion of Jesus to weaknes people, the example of liveFrancis of Assisi, and Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church. Based on YBSBand SPTN HPS agriculture movement author developed agriculture theology ofGod the Peasant/Farmer’s, biblical vision about the fertile soil, integrity ofcreation, and economic welfare for peasants.
