PENDETA PROFESIONAL: SENIMAN/ WATI GEREJA YANG SENANTIASA BERKREASI MEMERDEKAKAN KAUM PEREMPUAN

Abstract

When a pastor serves the other sometimes he/ she could left his/ her vocation to the church and public behind. The pastor does not so aware of the injustice matters happened amidst the people, especially the women. In the context of Indonesia, within its patriarchic atmospheres, women relatively still are seen as the second sex and therefore pictured as worse than men. This is also the model of injustice. The injustice attitudes then become a ‘tradition’ in the live of the people, as well as surrounded-blocking wall around them. Therefore, the pastoral calling of a pastor is to create liberating attitudes among the people, especially – again-  the women from the matters of injustice so that they can realize and feel of God’s love as the reality of liberation. This article will discuss on how a pastor could become a professional religious agent and at the same time as an artist with creativity in order to pursue the real liberation  for the women in his/her congregation.
