HIDUP MENGGEREJA DARI BAWAH DAN KONSEP PERCAYA (Sebuah Tinjauan Singkat pada Persoalan Pemberdayaan Jemaat)

Abstract

The community empowerment is one of the important church responsibilities. There are various empowerment programs that can be done by the congregations. In this article I narrow down the concept of community empowerment in its relationship to the concept of ecclesiology and church participation. The community empowerment can be affected either positively or negatively by a variety of variables, both relates to the church itself and other variables. This article attempts to show that the two issues could be considered as variables that could affect the concept of community empowerment, namely the concept of church from below and the concept of trust. We expect that the result of this discussion can become a kind of preliminary observation on the issues of community empowerment within churches.
