Abstract

The question regarding to “what kind of God?” amidst the victims who suffered fromthe abuse of political-ideological power is one of the most important to be inquired.This article deals with such kind of discourse in the context of the Indonesian’straumatic experience in the realm of social life. By encountering this matter to some ofthe Asian theologians’ point of views in Jesus’ question to his Father on His cross, weare invited in elaborating these two stories (the Indonesian’s black spot story as beingexperienced by the”left” people and the Gospel) in order to gain some ideas forcontextual pastoral actions in the praxis of Indonesian Christian communities.
