Abstract

Based on the history of Sunday School movement, this article proposes some issues of education for children in the contemporary Indonesian context. These issues are special intention for poor and neglected children; Sunday School, education, moral education and psychology; and, lastly, children in theology (children as blessings and children as sinners). This proposal is intended to develop more comprehensive Christian education for children, which has a strong theological foundation.
