In the context of an increasingly violent place everywhere, religions are challenged to establish a more real relationship (together) for the sake of creating a counter culture. In this context, the concern of the dialogue is to buildethical-practical bridges. This dialogue begins not from a theological level, but from a real situation. The real situation now is violence, injustice, terrorism, poverty, pluralism, gender dan ecological issues. These issues is the starting point in developing a theology of religions, especially in Indonesia. Crucial importence in order to devise a theology of religions in Indonesia are continuing efforts to make self-criticism on the expression of religious intolerance and hand cuff civil liberties. Only with the efforts that we can build a new civilization based on the equivalent of social reconciliation and justice.
