Abstract
This paper attempts to articulate the concept of mystical-prophetic spirituality of the Toraja people for the integrity of creation. Currently, the relationship between the Toraja people and the environment is deeply
concerning, with numerous disasters occurring, such as floods and landslides. The relationship among the Toraja people themselves is equally troubling, as acts of violence have occurred during ceremonies that should
prioritize togetherness. Therefore, this paper seeks to formulate the concept of Toraja mystical spirituality by understanding the Toraja people as a whole. This holistic understanding will be explored through their origins,
their purpose on earth, and their ultimate destiny. Such a comprehensive perspective will reveal the noble calling of the Toraja people, who are meant to uphold the integrity of creation. This noble calling will be interpreted as mystical-prophetic spirituality—a call to transformative action, expressed through love in concrete relations with others.
